PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Daley Center invites all Contractors to bid on the CL.24 Countertop & ADA Desk Installation at the Richard J. Daley Center.
This is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for work related to setting up a space in the Concourse Level (CL) room 24 with power and cable. An existing countertop will be used and we will provide the free-standing ADA desk. Pricing will be based on drawing SK-001_CL24 Counter Workstations.
PROPOSAL
The prices quoted for the CL24 Countertop and ADA Desk Installation for building staff at Richard J. Daley Center shall be for the duration of the agreement. Quotes are not subject to escalation, additional costs for insurance, taxes, benefits, etc. unless specifically clarified within the Contractor’s proposal. All bidders are encouraged to include a goal of at least 40% MBE/WBE participation from a certified City of Chicago MBE/WBE firm.
Projects at the Daley Center are Sales Tax Exempt.
QUALIFICATIONS
The Contractor and Subcontractor’s qualifications submission shall include the following documents:

- Public Building Commission of Chicago Disclosure Affidavit.
- A Complete Review and Approval of the RJDC Service Contract. (Not Subject to Modifications)
- Sample Certificate of Insurance.
- List of comparable projects completed in the last five years.
- List of current projects including dollar values.

Proposals are due no later than 12:00 pm on Friday, September 18, 2026.
A virtual pre-bid meeting will be held on Monday August 3, 2026 @ 10:00am Central Time to review the specifications and discuss the work areas. Please invite any subcontractors so they can also see the existing conditions.
