PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The Daley Center invites all Contractors to bid on the Richard J. Daley Center Pedway Project.
SCOPE OF WORK:
The work under this contract consists of interior alteration and renovation work on the Concourse Level (Pedway) of the existing Richard J. Daley Center Building located at 50 W. Washington Street in Chicago, Illinois.
The approximate area of alteration work is 210 square feet on the Concourse Level.
The building is occupied and operational. It is a requirement of work that access to adjoining spaces must be maintained at all times. The General Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, scheduling, and coordination and install all materials and items required to complete the construction work. The base scope of work includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following:
- SELECTIVE DEMOLITION, REMOVAL OF REVOLVING DOORS AND STOREFRONT, CEILING, FIXTURES, AND FLOOR FINISHES AS INDICATED.
- CONSTRUCTION OF NEW REVOLVING DOOR AND STOREFRONT DOOR SYSTEM ALONG WITH PATCHED AND REPAIRED CEILINGS, WALLS, AND TERRAZZO FLOORING.
